This 2010 Media Kit for ASIAN DEFENCE & DIPLOMACY (AD&D) is testimony to our continued commitment to serving the needs of the defence industry in the Asia Pacific region by providing them with a vehicle that provides the right environment to maximize the effectiveness of their advertising spend. Across 2009 AD&D has continued to transform itself towards meeting the objective of becoming a ‘market leader’. Great emphasis has been put on giving the magazine the correct ‘look and feel’ to appeal to our target audience in the Asia Pacific region. The quality of our editorial product continues to generate recognition from our readers. Beyond this, from an advertising point of view, during 2009 we gained advertising programmes from some of the major players in the global defence industry. One of the most significant developments in 2009 for AD&D was the publication of the first STRATEGIC FOCUS ASIA defence yearbook in September. This has been highly successful and has become a ‘MUST READ’ for regional defence professionals and for all those from the defence industry involved in the region. For 2010, STRATEGIC FOCUS ASIA will be expanded and its data updated to provide the most comprehensive guide to the world of defence in Asia. Another important development to note is that we have recently started discussions with BPA on obtaining new certification of our circulation (some two years ago, we decided to suspend BPA membership). We are now going through the formalities of the BPA process and expect to receive a new certificate by the end of the year. Our commitment was and still is to be the recognized as the leading regional defence magazine. Providing our regional readers with a publication that meets their rofessional needs and giving the industry a vehicle to reach out to this vital market both now and into the future.
